I am Daniel Rister, a clinical psychologist working in the field of medical psychology in both research and teaching.
My previous research has focused on inhibition processes during multilingual language switching as well as attentional mechanisms in motor planning and execution.
Currently, my work centers on craving processes in the context of substance use disorders, with a particular emphasis on identifying neural correlates in naturalistic, real-world settings.
